Sean Strickland
Strickland shocked fight fans when he knocked Adesanya down and won an impressive unanimous decision to win the middleweight title. His last time stepping into the cage saw him beat Paulo Costa by split decision.
Zhang Weili
Weili has been a force in the strawweight division, initially winning the belt from Jessica Andrade back in 2019. This is a rematch of UFC 297’s main event, where Dricus du Plessis won a narrow split decision victory to take the championship belt. It was a very close fight, but Dricus was judged to have been more effective. Dricus will look to utilise his strength and power advantage, and he’s currently the MMA odds favourite.
Strickland may have been unlucky not to win their first fight, but he’ll need to improve if he wants to win the middleweight title rematch. He should work to ensure he’s pushing the action as much as possible and avoid the grappling exchanges when possible.

Zhang Weili vs Tatiana Suarez
Zhang aims to become one of the most dominant champions in UFC women’s strawweight history. She dethroned the previous queen, Joanna Jędrzejczyk, and has now amassed a total of three title defences. Her losses to Rose Namajunas have shown her vulnerabilities, but she’s looked stronger than ever in recent fights.
Suarez was once considered the future of the women’s strawweight division, but injuries have really prevented her from taking off. Still, she’s been dominant in her run through the division. Despite this, she’s still the betting underdog as she faces her toughest challenge yet.
