GUS SWAYZE (3) Faded at the finish when 3rd beaten by 1/2L last start at this track but up against stronger rivals. Will be pushing for a forward position early. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. HARD TALK (5) Ran away with a win by 5 1/2L last run at Tampa Bay Downs. No shock to see a win. PARDO (6) Gave away some ground when 5th last time around here. Should improve here but up against a higher level of opposition. Should be going forward early. Should go close. BEAU BLACK (1) Was eating up the ground late when winning last start at the track and drawn beautifully. Has shown early pace in races to date. One of the hopes.
