The objective of the game is to form a better five-card poker hand than the dealer. But you also need to be aware of the following rules and side bets before getting started:

You must place an ante bet to play.
You are then dealt two cards face up, while the dealer also receives two cards face down.
To continue playing, you must make another bet 2x the original ante bet. Alternatively, you can fold and lose the ante bet.
The dealer then adds three community cards to the table, face up.
Another betting window opens, and you must bet 1x the ante bet or check to continue.
The dealer then deals another community card face up (called the turn), and you can bet 1x or check to continue.
The river card is then dealt face up, and the dealer reveals their cards.
You must then form the best five-card poker hand from your two cards and the five community cards. If you have a better poker hand than the dealer, you win.
In terms of payout, if you beat the dealer, the flop, turn, and river bets all pay out 1:1. The ante bet is a push (unless the winning hand is straight or better, where it is paid 1:1).
